REVELATION

Although the first draft of my novel was over 5 years ago, so many issues addressed in it remain current. The idea of wrapping serious problems in a fantasy format is not original of course – Brave New World and 1984 along with many serious Sci/Fi novels employ the same strategy. In fact, almost all the data in Revelation concerning climate change, evolution, entomology, consciousness research, astronomy and geology are correct.
My own experience in stem cell therapy enabled me to extend reality into a (hopefully) exciting fictitious narrative to engage the reader and stimulate them to pursue the other real and pressing issues threatening our fragile planet.
Unfortunately, the recent nationalistic and politically driven errors in the management of the COVID 19 pandemic (which occurred after my final text was submitted) have reinforced my somewhat pessimistic view of Homo sapiens sapiens selfish and tribal behaviour. Hopefully we may overcome them without the need for another evolutionary jump!
